Same-day pest service — book before noon, treated today

Wasp nest in the eaves. Cockroaches in the kitchen. Rats in the roof. Booking before midday in metro Adelaide gets a same-day callout. Safe products, kids-and-pets-aware re-entry windows, written job sheet.

Same-day pest control in Adelaide — for when you don’t want a quote callback, doesn’t want a 48-hour wait, and doesn’t have an emergency on their hands. Book a slot below and we’ll aim to get a technician to you the same day. Most metro suburbs covered — the earlier in the day you book, the better the chance of a same-day visit.

When same-day is the right call

This page is for urgent but not emergency work. The line:

  • Cockroaches in the kitchen — German cockroach population that’s broken cover, sighting count climbing.
  • Ant trail across the bench — sugar ant, black house ant, coastal brown ant, Argentine ant. Same-day baiting before the foragers reach the pantry.
  • Spider treatment before kids come home — huntsman cluster in the laundry, white-tail in the bedroom, redback web in the carport.
  • End-of-lease bond clean — vacating tomorrow, property manager wants the certificate. We work to bond-clean schedules.
  • Rodent activity — droppings or sighting in a residential property where the owner wants it dealt with today.
  • Fleas after a tenant move-out — particularly where pets have been on the property and the landlord’s flagged it.

What this page is not for:

  • Genuine emergencies — wasp swarms with kids in the yard, food-premises rodent during trading, active termite swarm. Those skip the queue. See the emergency page.
  • Termite work — termite inspections, treatments and barriers are scheduled, not same-day. The work needs 60–90 minutes on-site and a written report afterwards. Use the termite inspection page instead.
  • Commercial contracts — cafe, restaurant, food premises, body corp, school, warehouse. Different conversation. Use the commercial pest control page.

What’s included on a same-day pest visit

The standard same-day visit is an internal-and-external residential pest treatment, scoped to the species you’ve reported. Typical scope:

  • Internal spray through living areas, kitchen, bathrooms, laundry, garage. APVMA-registered residual insecticide applied along skirtings, behind kickboards, in cupboard corners. Re-entry once dry, as set by the product label (typically 1–2 hours).
  • External perimeter spray along the building edge, fence line, garden bed border, and any visible harbourage points (compost bin, woodpile, shed walls).
  • Targeted treatment for the species you flagged — gel bait for cockroaches, granular bait for ants, dust application in roof void if spiders or wasps are nesting up there.
  • Re-entry walk-through — what was used, where, when the area’s safe to walk on (typically 1–2 hours indoors, immediately outdoors once the technician’s packed up). Follow the re-entry times for children and pets, as explained by the technician.

Most jobs run 45–90 minutes on site. Pricing $180–$350 for a standard residential job, $180–$350 for end-of-lease (flea treatment if pets), commercial quoted separately.

What we’ll ask when you book

The booking widget keeps it short. Three pieces of information matter:

  1. Suburb. Same-day visits are most likely across the inner and middle-ring suburbs. Outer suburbs and the Adelaide Hills (Stirling, Aldgate, Mount Barker, Gawler, Aldinga) may need a next-day booking.
  2. What you’ve seen. Species if you know it, otherwise a description (“small black ants on the bench,” “big russet cockroaches in the laundry at night”). Photo helps.
  3. Property type. House, unit, townhouse, commercial. Determines the spray scope and the treatment time.

What happens after you book

  1. Confirmation by SMS with your booking details.
  2. Technician en route with an ETA window.
  3. Job done. Treatment, walk-through, written invoice before the technician leaves.

Worried it’s actually a termite issue, not pest?

Mud tubes on a brick pier, soft skirting boards, hollow-sounding timber, winged “ants” with straight antennae and equal-length wings — these are termite signs, not pest-treatment territory. Don’t book this widget. Book a termite inspection instead. The inspection follows AS 4349.3-2010 and the guidance in AS 3660.2-2017, takes 60–90 minutes, and comes with a written report.
